The Motion Pro 08-0471 Bead Buddy II is a simple and effective tool for keeping tires in place while working on them. The tool is placed on the opposite side of the tire from where the tire irons are used to pry off the tire and keep the tire off the outer part of the rim and closer to the center of the rim. One tool is sufficient and it can work on spoke wheels with 10-21-inch sizes, although it has limitations when it comes to larger wheels. The tool does not prevent tube pinching, but it does securely hold the bead of the tire in the wheel well, allowing some relief moving the opposite bead of the tire over the rim of the wheel.
