Now I also bought their tall boots same size but they have stretched a lot so hoping this paddock boot will do the same, haven't had time to use them yet due to injury. I have a wide foot, the length was fine, if your daughter has a medium width I think the 40 will be fine as they do stretch. Hope this is of some help. -
