The SL88 is a midi keyboard controller from Studio Logic. The keyboard does not have a built-in speaker, so a separate sound module and amplifier are required to hear sound output. Though on the other hand, the user documentation on this keyboard is scanty, and the interface and menus are slightly clunky which can be frustrating when using the keyboard. This is a fully-weighted Fatar keyboard with a multicolor LCD that is expansive. Some keys have sluggish action and are tighter than other Hammer-Action keyboards in its price range but playability is good. Velocity response range is incredible and can be used for total control. The product comes with three pedal ports and one pedal, but no built-in speaker. ###
