The Gikfun Square IC PLCC Chip Extraction Tool Extractor Puller for Arduino AE1169 is a tool specifically designed to extract PLCC chips from their sockets with ease. The tool features clamps that securely hold the chip once extracted. The tool is easy to use, simply place the tool on the chip and squeeze the handles together. Unfortunately, not all customers received the same tool as pictured, and some received regular IC pullers instead, which were too bulky to use for PLCC chips. Some customers also reported that the tool was flimsy and would fling the chip across the room. While the tool does extract the chips as intended, customers do have to be careful as it can still potentially damage the pins.
