The standard bracket isn't designed to run the wire out of the bottom, but it works through the back. The cord length is a plus and can be drilled through a hole. The bracket can't be mounted upside down allowing the entire unit to flip instead. It's not compatible with the Eufy Floodlight Camera. The product is loved by clients and deemed easy to install.
