The spray tar is easier to use than the tar in the can. However, it still leaks sap out of the cut areas even after two coats, and the dark brown color may look odd where branches were pruned off. It's not recommended for damaged or burnt trees, and it won't work for roots. Overall, many customers were happy with the product and would recommend it.
