The switch is rated for 36 volts, making it suitable for carts with 6 ea 6 volt batteries. It is not specified if it will work with a 97 EZGO TXT with the normal forward reverse switch under your legs. It is a 3-pin switch and does not come with installation instructions. Overall, customers found it easy to install and a perfect replacement for their old, faded switches. It was also described as better than the original switch.
