The oven is wood-fired, and pizza is cooked directly on the brick floor of the oven, which gets extremely hot, so most stones wouldn't even fit inside. One can build a fire in the middle and then move it to the side when ready to cook, which heats the stone floor. The oven floor size is 23.6"x15.7" with a six-inch opening. It can make a 14" pizza, but it's not easy. The door opening and the amount of wood needed makes it a tight fit. It is suggested that 12" pizzas are the sweet spot. It takes around 25 minutes to get the fire started, but once the temperature is 990 degrees Fahrenheit, pizzas cooked effortlessly in the oven. The pizza oven is made with high-quality material and easy to assemble. The oven does not come with a ceramic stone, and it is recommended not to use one. One can cook pizza in freezing temperatures, and the oven is designed to withstand that.
