IEights Webcams ELP-USB8MP05AF-FF105-us Editorial Review
**** The 8MP USB Camera Module with a built-in microphone offers a valuable alternative to pricier options for those engaged in projects such as laser engraving, photography, and 3D printing. Users have found that it connects seamlessly with popular software like Lightburn, and many have praised its sharp image quality, especially given its competitive price point. Although labelled as a 4K camera, the resolution reportedly resembles 1080p, with a certain over-sharpening that can be expected at this budget. Several users have utilized the camera for creative projects, including time-lapse photography and as a viewfinder for cosplay setups. Its wide-angle lens enhances versatility, making it suitable for capturing expansive scenes. However, it is not without its drawbacks; some reviewers noted challenges with video frame rates at higher resolutions, sluggish performance, and difficulties in handling uneven lighting. The microphone, while usable, requires close proximity for decent audio capture. Despite its limitations, the general Consensus is that the camera is an excellent starter option or a supplementary imaging solution for hobbyists looking to gain functionality without the expense of high-end professional equipment. For its price, many users feel satisfied with its performance, making it a worthwhile investment for various DIY projects. **
