The Early Years of Turkey is a book written by Atatürk between 1924-1938, the majority of which consists of opening speeches to the parliament. We hear all the innovations in the newly established Republic of Turkey, all the developments from education to industry, from agriculture to urbanism, from economy to diplomatic relations, in short, a country's effort to create itself, year by year, step by step, from the mouth of its founder. This book, which was opened with the speech made by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from the National Assembly rostrum on March 1, 1924, ends with the speech read by Celal Bayar on behalf of Atatürk on November 1, 1938.
