Wittgenstein'ın en önemli eserleri arasında yer alan kitap kimi araştırmacılar tarafından onun düşüncesindeki yeni bir aşama olarak da yorumlanmıştır.Kültür ve Değer, VVittgenstein'ın 1951'de ölümünden sonra geride bıraktığı folyolar halindeki elyazması notlardan derlenmiştir; ağırlıklı olarak felsefe, sanat ve kültür konularındaki değinilerinden oluşan bir seçmedir. İlk kez 1977 yılında G.
